Privacy policy

Last updated: 30 October 2026

Signalroot is a puzzle game. It collects nothing. There is no account, no analytics, no crash reporter, and no server belonging to us. This page is short because there is nothing to disclose.

What the app stores

Your progress — levels completed, best level, runs finished, whether music and effects are on — is kept in the app's private storage on your device. It never leaves the device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

What the app sends

Nothing. The app is built without the internet permission, so it has no ability to transmit anything even if a library tried. It shows no ads, embeds no active advertising or analytics SDK, and makes no network requests.

The app reads one thing about the device at startup — whether it is running on an emulator, and which certificate signed the build — and uses it in memory to decide whether in-app rewards can be trusted. It is not stored off the device and not sent anywhere.

Permissions

The app asks for none that you can grant or deny. The only entry it declares is a foreground-service permission contributed by the audio plugin, which the player never sees and which grants access to no personal data.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and it collects no personal information from anyone of any age — so there is nothing for a parent to request, and nothing we could disclose.

Your rights

Data-protection law gives you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data an organisation holds about you. We hold none: there is no account, no identifier and no record of you anywhere but on your own device, under your own control. Uninstalling the app is a complete deletion.

Changes

If this ever stops being true — for example if a future version adds advertising — this policy will be replaced, the date at the top will change, and the store listing's data-safety section will change with it. Until then, this page describes the app as it actually is.

Contact

Questions about this policy, or about anything the app does with your data: privacy@flamebytedigital.ca. It is read by a person, and it is the correct address to use for any request under the section above.
